Born and bred in Glen Innes, NSW, Amelia moved to Sydney to study at the Actors Centre Australia. Recently she also studied with Steppenwolf Theatre Company in Chicago and the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in Los Angeles.
Her theatre credits include Hairworm (Eye Contact Theatre Co), Boy Out Of The Country (Company Of Rogues), Australia Day, After The Dance, The Heidi Chronicles, Book Of Days (New Theatre), Women Of Manhattan (Billy Blonde Productions), 24 Hour Party Playwright (Bondi Feast), The Elements of an Offence (Queer Fringe), Romeo & Juliet (Schools Tour), Closer (NIDA Directors Project), and Cloudstreet (ACA).
Her film and television credits include Joe Cinque's Consolation (Consolation Productions), Love Child (Channel Nine), Tightly Ground (Felicity Keep Productions), Different Things (WLP Productions), Life Is Card (Half Pie Productions), Getting Real and The Conlon (Hired Gun Productions), Cyber Squad and Devoted Husband (Joe Hughes).
Amelia has produced the short films Getting Real, Bad Jesus and the play Women Of Manhattan.
